Carl Phillips
Carl Phillips is the author of ten books of poetry, most recently Quiver of Arrows: Selected Poems 1986-2006 and Speak Low, forthcoming in the spring of 2009. His awards include the Kingsley Tufts Award, the Theodore Roethke Memorial Foundation Award, and fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the Library of Congress, and the Academy of American Poets, to which he was named a Chancellor in 2006. Phillips teaches at Washington University.
