Her work has appeared in Copper Nickel\, Crazyhorse\, Field\, Indiana Review\, and Verse Daily\, and other publications. A recipient of fellowships from the NEA\, H. J. Andrews Research Forest\, American Antiquarian Society and the Bakken Museum of Electricity in Life\, she teaches Creative Writing at the University of Minnesota. \nJenny Molberg\nJenny Molberg is the author of Marvels of the Invisible (winner of the 2014 Berkshire Prize\, Tupelo Press\, 2017) and Refusal (LSU Press\, 2020). She is the recipient of a 2019-2020 Creative Writing Fellowship from the National Endowment and her work has recently appeared or is forthcoming in Ploughshares\, Gulf Coast\, Tupelo Quarterly\, Boulevard\, and other publications. She teaches creative writing at the University of Central Missouri\, where she directs Pleiades Press and edits Pleiades magazine.

If you are not submitting a poem but would like to attend\, please email us at sunday.workshop@stlouispoetrycenter.org to register.\n\nFor complete submission guidelines\, visit our workshops page.\n\n \nSally Van Doren\nA poet and artist\, Sally Van Doren is the author of Promise (LSU Press)\, Possessive and Sex at Noon Taxes which received the Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets. Her poetry has appeared widely in national and international publications\, including Poetry London and Poetry Ireland Review. Her writings have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and featured by The Writer’s Almanac on NPR\, The Poetry Foundation and American Life in Poetry.  She has taught at the 92nd Street Y and in the St. Louis Public Schools. Since 2006\, she has added one line a day to her ongoing poem\, “The Sense Series” excerpts of which served as the text for a multi-media installation at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis and on Instagram@sallyvandoren.  In recent years\, she has begun publicly exhibiting her visual art and photography which can be seen at www.sallyvandoren.com.

He is the author of two poetry collections River Hymns 2017 APR/Honickman First Book Prize winner and Cardinal forthcoming from Copper Canyon Press 2020. Daye is a Cave Canem fellow. Daye won the 2019 Palm Beach Poetry Festival Langston Hughes Fellowship\, 2019 Diana and Simon Raab Writer-In-Residence at UC Santa Barbara\, and is a 2019 Kate Tufts Finalist. Daye most recently was awarded a 2019 Whiting Writers Award. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

She is the author of two poetry collections\, Passing Through Humansville (Sundress\, 2018) and No More Milk (Sundress\, 2016)\, and three chapbooks\, Escaped Housewife Tries Hard to Blend In (Hermeneutic Chaos Press\, 2017)\, Someone Could Build Something Here (Winged City\, 2013) and Stone for An Eye (The Kent State University Press\, 2004).  Her poems have also appeared in Poetry\, Indiana Review\, Crab Orchard Review\, Prairie Schooner\, and elsewhere. Craigo is the poetry series editor for the Missouri State University-based Moon City Press and the nonfiction editor for the literary journal Mid-American Review. As a journalist\, she is editor and general manager of The Marshfield Mail\, a 128-year-old weekly newspaper based in the Webster County seat.  Craigo explores writing\, publishing\, and creativity on her blog\, Better View of the Moon.  She current serves as Missouri’s fifth Poet Laureate.

Dr. Redmond has co-founded Fannie Lou Hamer House\, a retreat space for Black artists\, and is the founder of Feminine Pronoun Consultants\, LLC\, and Get The Acceptance Letter Academy. Dr. Redmond was recently named a post doctoral fellow of literary executorship for the estate of Dr. Eugene B. Redmond and the late Henry Dumas. We apologize for any inconvenience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSUBMISSIONS DEADLINE: March 27\, 2022\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE POET\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMARK WUNDERLICH is the author of The Anchorage (1999)\, which received the Lambda Literary Award\, Voluntary Servitude (2004)\, The Earth Avails (2014)\, which was a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Award and received the 2015 Rilke Prize\, and God of Nothingness (2021).  He has received fellowships from the NEA\, the Massachusetts Cultural Council\, the Wallace Stegner Fellowship Program at Stanford\, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown\, the Amy Lowell Trust and the Civitella Ranieri Foundation.  Wunderlich has taught at Stanford and Barnard College and in the graduate writing programs at Columbia University\, Ohio University\, San Francisco State University and Sarah Lawrence.  As an arts administrator\, he has worked at the Academy of American Poets\, Poetry Society of America\, the University of Arizona Poetry Center\, Poets & Writers and the Napa Valley Writers Conference.  He holds a BA in German Literature and English from the University of Wisconsin\, and an MFA from Columbia University School of the Arts. Wunderlich lives in the Hudson River Valley and has taught at Bennington since 2004. He became the director of the Bennington Writing Seminars in August 2017.

We apologize for any inconvenience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEXTENDED SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE: November 15\, 2022\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE POET\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n JASON VASSER-ELONG [Vassir–Eh-long] is assistant teaching professor in the Pierre Laclede Honors College and a doctoral student in the College of Education at the University of Missouri – St. Louis\, where he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing and studied cultural anthropology and African Diaspora studies. He is the author of Shrimp (2Leaf Press\, 2018)\, a collection of poetry that analyzes identity in a post-colonial context. Jason has two peer reviewed articles: Perfect Water which appears in the Canadian Journal of Netherlandic Studies in the “Proceedings” issue (2021) and Treading the Atlantic which appears in the Canadian Journal of Netherlandic Studies – special issue on “Netherlandic Migrations: Narratives from North America” (2016). He was a General Anthropology Division travel award recipient for the 2021 American Anthropological Association’s annual meeting in Baltimore\, MD\, where he presented Treading the Atlantic. Jason has poetry in numerous anthologies and currently serves as poet-in-residence for Sapiens Magazine 2022.
