DESCRIPTION:This workshop will be held in-person at Sheldon Concert Hall – Konneker Room. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn partnership with SLICE\, Saint Louis Poetry Center is thrilled to welcome Crystal Odelle for a special SLICE workshop! This will be a generative workshop. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE WORKSHOP\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWriting to Recollect\, or Time Travel 101 \n\n\n\nDo you sometimes feel like an unreliable narrator with an inconsistent backstory? Are you experiencing prolonged discomfort from a rupture in your Central Timeline? Time travel might be worth the risk. Join Crystal Odelle for an afternoon of fabulous experiments in storytelling\, supported by the St. Louis Independent Comics Expo (SLICE). Together\, writers will break point of view\, tense\, chronology\, and just maybe reality itself. Crystal will talk from experience in (non)fiction\, but creatives in other disciplines warmly welcome. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGUIDELINES & REGISTRATION\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is required\, and is first-come\, first-served.\n\n\n\nThose registering are expected to attend the workshop.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPRESENTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVENUE
