Ekphrastic Poetry Workshop
in conjunction with Time Bound, an exhibition by Cheeraz Gormon.
October 15 @ 6:00 pm
This workshop will be held in-person at Hoffman LaChance Contemporary.

This workshop will be facilitated by Jason Vasser-Elong. Participants will reflect on and write poetry inspired by Cheeraz Gormon’s photography.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Participants will walk around the gallery to observe the photographs. Then, they will take a second walk around the gallery and focus their energy on one photograph that stands out to them. With journal or paper in hand, participants will search for narratives and write about what they notice in the photograph. That writing will be used to craft a poem.
