What is time made of? Autobiography of Red
Time is the continued sequence of existence and events that occurs in an apparently irreversible succession from the past, through the present, and into the future. Wikipedia
I keep checking my email to find out if I’m still here are you with me?
belonging to someone an assurance of presence insurance against disappearing
placing me on the shelf with all of your other belongings
being a thing being better than not here at all
do you really believe that? sometimes.
the clock goes a cruel state disappearing the day instituting programs for disposing of the bodies of every hour but pain is so slow

I keep checking my phone in increminutes of 3 7:03 - 7:06 - 11:59
it plays ocean sounds captures images of things; dead and alive records my data listens to me
I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that.
[a poem is a demarcation of time: a fugitive state resisting the empire of the clock]
holding it in my hands I am destined for a call even though no one does that anymore
the determined nature of this object is irresistible
my phone was made to make and receive calls
someone out there in time and air is trying to reach me
I am waiting by the phone for your call
waiting is an assurance against death x
